Are you in high school and have always dreamed of working in conservation, but don’t know where to start?
Join us for our brand new Conservation Career Days giving you to chance to get hands on and explore some of the fascinating areas of conservation.
Join us to discover how Chester Zoo is using camera traps and AI to learn more about species like chimpanzees and pangolins! We’ll be exploring different types of conservation technology being used to protect species through a variety of activities, talks and more. This will not only give you a taste of what real conservationists do in their jobs but will also equip you with skills you can use in a future conservation career!

Who it’s for?
Young people in secondary school years 7-9. Children should be booked into the school year group they are currently in. The school year runs from 1 September – 31 August.
What’s included?
- 1 day of activities relating to conservation technology and how it’s being used to help animals like chimpanzees and pangolins.
- A Certificate of Completion to show your budding conservationist has acquired the skills and knowledge they need!
Lunch is not included
