In this popular & updated workshop, students become immersed in an adventure to the rainforest, sat around a campfire (no actual flames!) describing the weather, how they feel and what they can see and hear.
They’ll think about the equipment needed for such an adventure before exploring why the rainforest is so important to both people and wildlife.
We’ll think about the classification of animals in the rainforest, their adaptations, life cycles and food chains.
Of course it’s not all good news, so we’ll discuss the threats to the rainforest and how students every day actions such as recycling and buying sustainable products can help save this wonderful and important habitat!
