
Monitoring and Evaluation in Conservation Education
This course is designed for individuals working in conservation organisations that want to measure the impact of their activities to be better able to report on progress, to use findings to improve future work, and to know what works and what doesn’t to contribute to best practice.
We will cover key areas such as:
- Understand fundamental role of evaluation in conservation education programmes.
- The need for monitoring and evaluation amongst different stakeholders
- Research design and opportunities for evaluation in your work
- Considerations for different audiences
- Practicalities of short-term monitoring and repeat engagement
- Challenges of designing, embedding and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans – with case study examples
- Range of evaluation methods and their suitability for different programmes and evaluation needs
Please note – Session 1 will be held on Tuesday 17 June and Session 2 on Tuesday 24 June. The price is inclusive of both sessions and the same person needs to attend both sessions.
