The Chester Zoo herd of giraffes have moved over to their brand-new home in Heart of Africa. We’re giving them a few months to settle into their new, state-of-the-art habitat, so you’ll be able to see them again in spring 2025.

After an introductory briefing you will then have the very special opportunity to meet and feed our Rothschild’s giraffes at head height from our viewing platform.
You will also have a chance to ask our animal experts any questions you may have about this fabulous species, the work of our keepers and the incredible work our teams are doing to protect them from extinction.
