This exciting experience offers a rare glimpse into the daily work of a meerkat keeper, giving you the chance to see these incredible animals from a whole new perspective.
Please note: This is a keeper-led experience, designed to give you an authentic insight into the life of a meerkat keeper. To ensure their welfare, there is no direct contact, handling, or feeding and meerkats will not climb on participants.

Terms and conditions
- To ensure the best experience, this is an exclusive, small-group activity with a maximum of two participants per session.
- Please arrive at Experiences HQ (located at the main entrance) 30 minutes before your experience begins.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must either book to take part or hold a valid day ticket or membership to enter the zoo as a spectator.
- Participants must be aged 10 or over.
- Two children aged 10+ can take part together, as long as at least one adult is spectating.
- This experience is for two people, and both participants must book together. Zoo admission is included.
- Due to health and safety considerations, this experience may not be suitable for guests with relevant phobias, allergies, expectant mothers, or immunocompromised individuals. Please contact us before booking if you have any concerns.
