The Savannah VIP package will offer every magical moment of the Savannah Adventurer package but will add on another two super-exclusive behind-the-scenes wildlife and conservation experiences that will only ever be available to Savannah VIP guests.

Join us for the Giraffe Wake-Up Experience where you'll work with our keepers to wake our the resident giraffes (and maybe even other species), prep them and their habitats ready for the day and release them into the morning air.

The Conservation-In-Action Experience will give a super-exclusive peek behind the scenes, spending time in the 'lab' learning about the vital live conservation projects, experiments and breeding work the science and vet teams are working on during your stay.

What's included

Valet Parking & Signature Welcome Drink

On arrival, you'll be welcomed by our valet team who will look after your luggage and bring it directly to your lodge, and your car will be safely taken to our private guest parking area. Then enjoy one our signature drinks in the lounge whilst you're being checked in.

2-day Extended Hours Zoo Pass

From the moment you arrive on Day 1, you'll be able to head straight into the zoo for the day via your private guest entrance into our Heart of Africa zone. Enjoy a day exploring where you'll meet some of the 500+ species we care for before heading back to The Reserve to enjoy a tasty evening meal in the Amboseli Restaurant.

Breakfast and 3-Course Dining Experience

Your stay includes a tasty breakfast each morning and a lovingly prepared 3-Course dinner each evening in the Amboseli Restaurant which has stunning views across the terrace toward the lake. You'll have the choice of a range of mouthwatering dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. And to make your stay super-special, why not pop a cork from the expansive range of wine and champagne or sip a local craft beer in the Tsavo Lounge to finish your evening?

Evening Campfire Stories

Each evening our expert rangers will be inviting you to join them under a cosy blanket by the firepit for a sundowner (or warming hot chocolate) to share stories from the field and answer your questions about the vital conservation work we carry out across Africa.

Heart of Africa Safari Tour

Enjoy the magic of the Heart of Africa zone of the zoo after hours where you'll be taken on a ranger guided tour to take a peek into the evening activities of the resident herds. You'll get the chance to enter the Hidden Savannah where you'll be able to get up close with the residents and help the rangers with species care during the evening. You'll be given the use of night vision goggles and infra-red torches so you don't miss a thing.

Giraffe Keeper Kitchen Experience

Once you've completed the Heart of Africa Safari Tour, our rangers will take you to the Giraffe House for the Giraffe Keeper Kitchen Experience. Here you'll get to learn all about Giraffe care including how meal plans are prepared as well as seeing how target practice tools are used for training and then get hands on with enrichment creation. Your creations will then be placed in the giraffe habitat the next morning.

Giraffe Wake-Up Experience

On this early morning VIP exclusive experience guests will have the opportunity to join our keepers to rouse the resident giraffe herd (and maybe even other species) from their slumber before prepping and feeding breakfast, preparing their habitat for the day and maybe even weighing them before releasing them into the morning air.

Note: Only children aged 11 and over will be able to take part in the feeding element of this experience. Children between the ages of 6 and 10 will have a curated experience that allows them to take part in a safe suitable way whilst still feeling part of the experience of waking the giraffes.

Conservation-In-Action Experience

This VIP Exclusive Experience will take you behind-the-scenes into the lab where you'll join an interactive session in the 'lab' to learn about the vital conservation work and animal care happening right at that moment with our science and animal care teams. You'll even learn how intricate procedures are carried out on our animals and have the chance to ask all those burning questions about the zoo.
