At Chester Zoo, our mission is to address these critical conservation challenges through transformative sector-wide initiatives. By partnering with industry leaders like Asda and collaborating with various NGOs, we develop practical and measurable strategies to enhance sustainability standards concerning imported deforestation. 

Our partnership with Asda aims to promote reforestation and enhance habitat connectivity. We work closely with smallholders and plantation companies to establish biodiversity corridors and engage with local communities to create sustainable, long-term solutions for orangutan conservation.
