Snow Leopard Sitting On Rocks By Some Water In Their Zoo Habitat
Footprints for the future

Snow leopards are threatened with extinction, with their population rapidly declining. In fact, the IUCN estimates there are only around 3000 snow leopards left in the wild. In 2023 we welcomed Snow Leopards, Nubra and Yashin, into the zoo as part of our efforts to ensure this special species can survive. Our expert conservationists also continue their work to support snow leopard populations in the wild.

Support our snow leopard conservation work today by donating to have a ‘paw print’ engraved with your or your loved one’s name and placed in the heart of our snow leopard habitat.
